LADIES CHRISTMAS PARTY Plan to attend the Ladies Christmas Party and Dessert this Tuesday, December 2nd from 7:00-8:30 pm in the library. Please bring a dessert to share and a wrapped gift to exchange ($10 limit). We will also have a Secret Sister drawing for those who are interested. If you have not responded, please sign-up in the back of the church this morning.

GAP volunteers are going to serve at the Childrens’ Hunger Fund in Pacoima on December 6th, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Please call Matt Dixon if you are interested in joining them.

BE A BLESSING TO THE DEAF/BLIND MINISTRY THIS HOLIDAY SEASON We are collecting items needed for one of our ministries, the Deaf/Blind Ministry in Los Angeles led by our own Jim & Joan Hansen. Gift Suggestions: Bath towel or towel sets (wash cloth, hand towel, bath towel); Care Packages: tissue, soap, hand sanitizer, shower gel, lotion; Snacks: dry fruits, nuts, candy, popcorn, granola bars, etc; Kitchen Packages: hot pads, dish rag, dish towel, dish soap; throw blankets; Gift Cards: Target, Starbucks, Vons, Fast Foods, (No Wal-Mart); Money donations: To take group out for Christmas Eve dinner tradition. SCV Pregnancy Center The SCV Pregnancy Center has immediate openings for Volunteer RN positions. There is a great opportunity for Nurses to impact our world for Christ by serving the young women and men in our community. Morning and afternoon shifts (4-5 hours) are available. Christian Outreach In Public Elementary Schools – Good News Clubs A Good News Club is a free of charge after school club that meets weekly for an hour and a half. The Rio Vista Elementary School club meets on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:00 pm. If you would like to help in one of the clubs or would like more information, either contact Louise Essex or email keith_louise -at- sbcglobal.net.

Praise the Lord for 18 years of ministry at the Brig on Camp Pendleton! Jack had a fall recently but is healing well. Pray for continued open door at the Brig, for conversions, and for spiritual growth.
