GAP Christmas Party!! Come join us for the most fun you’ll have this Christmas season! Following the evening service tonight we’ll be having a Christmas party to rival all Christmas parties at the Sonnenburg’s!  The main event of the night will be the White Elephant Gift Exchange (or as some people call it – a Yankee Swap).  Please come to the party with a gift to exchange – nothing over $10, please.  Last year we had a great time fighting over a knife collection.  You never know what kind of gifts will show up.  Join us for a great time – and remember, studying for finals is NOT an excuse to not be there!  Questions? Be A Blessing to the Deaf/Blind Ministry this Holiday Season We are collecting items needed for the Deaf/Blind Ministry in Los Angeles led by our own Jim & Joan Hansen. We are in need of Christmas gift bags – medium to large sizes. Gift Suggestions: bath towel or towel sets (wash cloth, hand towel, bath towel); care packages (tissue, soap, hand sanitizer, shower gel, lotion); snacks: (dry fruits, nuts, candy, popcorn, granola bars, etc.); kitchen packages: (hot pads, dish rag, dish towel, dish soap; throw blankets); Gift Cards: Target, Starbucks, Vons, Fast Foods, (No Wal- Mart); money donations to take group out for their Christmas Eve dinner tradition. December 13th is the last day to donate to this special cause. There is a box at the back of the church for any donations you may have.

Theology For Breakfast will be taking a break through the holidays and will resume on Saturday, January 10, 2009.

Youth Wrap Fest! If you are interested in donating Christmas wrapping paper, bows, ribbon, tape, etc., please bring it to the church this week. The Youth Group will be wrapping presents this Saturday at stores throughout our valley. The entire church is invited to participate in this event.

Our Daily Bread for December-February is now available on the back table.

Calendar Correction: The dates of the SCCS Christmas concerts have been changed: Secondary concert will be December 15th and the Elementary concert is scheduled for December 16th.

Christmas Card Exchange boxes are located at the back of the church. You may place your Christmas cards for church family members and friends in the appropriate slot according to the first letter of the recipient’s last name. Also make sure to check your box to see if you have any cards left for you! This service will be available each Sunday until Christmas. If you have any questions, please call the Church Office.

Pray for safety as they are now traveling to Tennessee to see their daughter Becci and family. Pray also for the visitation ministry which Pastor Farley oversees.

Theology for Breakfast will take a break over the holidays. We will pick up again on Saturday, January 10, 2009. Prior to that time, please be reading in your syllabus in preparation for that day. Particularly pages 78-96 & 179-191, also read chapters 3 & 10 in the *Hermeneutics* book. May the Lord richly bless your study.
