Ladies’ Christmas Party This Tuesday, December 1st: All ladies are welcome to attend! We will be meeting at the home of Shirley Luna (28541 Kathleen Avenue in Saugus) from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Whether you are a secret sister or not, we hope to have you come! Bring a friend, your daughter, or perhaps the visitor you met in church today! Please bring a dessert if your last name starts with A- D, side dish E- L, and a main dish M-Z. We will also be revealing ourselves to our secret sister! If you would like to bring her a final surprise, this would be most welcomed. We will also be drawing names for new secret sisters that will run through all of 2010. Christmas Collection for The Bible Tabernacle: The Children’s Sunday School will be collecting items the Bible Tabernacle during December. The Bible Tablernacle is a Men’s Ministry founded by Pastor Fred Hilst in 1959 in Venice, CA. In 1979 he developed the Bible Tabernacle Canyon Country Men’s Ministry which offers men a biblical “rehabilitation/transformation” program. They provide a home, work therapy programs, discipleship classes, a Biblically based Twelve Step Introspective/Recovery Programs. There is no charge, as the Bible Tabernacle is fully supported by charitable donations. The program is based entirely on the Bible, with intense personal introspection and discipleship. Their approach to “rehabilitation” is Transformation making a new man out of the old, becoming a healthy and productive citizen, as well as a mature Christian. For over 50 years, the Bible Tabernacle has been helping men and women who have been released from prison, struggling with drugs and alcohol problems or have just lost their way in life, to become responsible, productive members of society again.
