CHRISTMAS CANTATA!!  Join us this Sunday morning, December 13th, at 10:30 am to enjoy our Worship Choir as they present “A Manger Suite”.  You will not want to miss this wonderful morning of singing and fellowship.

SUNDAY EVENING CAROL SING    Sunday evening, December 20th, we will have our annual Christmas Carol Sing.  Please bring a plate of Christmas cookies to share; cider will be provided.  Come ready to sing your favorite carols and have a great time of fellowship.

CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE will be Thursday, December 24th, at 7:00 pm.  This special service will include the singing of Christmas carols, special music, our Worship Choir, and reading of the Christmas story.  Join us as we celebrate our Savior’s birth.

Join Us Tonight at our usual evening service where we will come together for a time around the Lord’s table in Communion and also share dinner together.  It may be cold outside, but fellowship will be warm inside, so join us for burgers provided by the church!

GAP Christmas Party The Sonnenburgs are hosting the annual GAP Christmas Party at their home, 25864 Alegro Drive, Valencia this Friday, December 11^th at 7:00 pm. Bring a white elephant gift ($5 value) for the gift exchange. Questions? Call the Sonnenburgs or Trepaniers. Be there!

The Secret Sister program is a way of staying connected to established friendships or forming a new relationship with one of the ladies at SCBC.   This is an opportunity to keep a particular sister in prayer and remember her special days.  There are many ways to do this, but a few ideas are: greeting cards, poems, verses, small gifts, and prayer. Remember, you are to keep yourself a “secret” to her~ so be creative in how you deliver your items.  We will begin this January 1, 2010, and reveal ourselves to our Secret sister next year at our Ladies’ Christmas party, December 7, 2010.  We invite you to join the fun! Please see Karyn Basolo for a SS form. This must  be returned to her by December 20, 2009.

Children’s Church There will be no Children’s Church next Sunday so that families can enjoy the Choir Cantata together.

Offering Envelopes Be sure to check the back table for 2010 offering envelopes in your name.

Calendars & Christmas Cards The Youth Group has 17 calendars and 23 boxes of Christmas Cards available for purchase at the back table. If you have already placed an order please check to see if it has arrived.

Christmas Collection for The Bible Tabernacle The Children’s Sunday School will be collecting items the Bible Tabernacle during December. Please see the insert for details.

Christmas Card Exchange boxes are located at the back of the church. You may place your Christmas cards for church family members and friends in the appropriate slot according to the first letter of the recipient’s last name. Also make sure to check your box to see if you have any cards left for you! This service will be available each Sunday until Christmas. If you have any questions, please call the Church Office.

Larry & Rose Anne Thornburg, serving the Lord in Spain with ABWE

Larry and Inaki had the privilege of baptizing four new believes: Priscilla, Albeiro, Lorena and Gabriela. They also received six new members into their fellowship. Please continue to pray for these new Christians and for their witness for Christ.
