Come enjoy a lasagna lunch made by our lovely ladies of SCBC. The evening service will be complimented as we hear a final message from our team who serve the Lord in Italy.

New Member’s Class Are you interested in investigating membership here at Santa Clarita Baptist Church?   The new class began today.   It meets at 9:00 am during the Sunday School hour in Room 311.  If you are interested, please see John Dennis or call him at 251-0982 with any questions you may have.

Theology For Breakfast or Dessert? Pastor Scott is preparing to begin the second session of our theology studies and is considering both morning and evening time slots.  If you are interested, please speak to him as to which would work best for you as we prepare to begin in the next few weeks.

Attention All Ushers: We will be having a mandatory meeting on Sunday March 28th after the morning service to discuss the direction of our Usher’s Ministry.  Please make arrangements to attend, lunch will be provided.  Also please read the Usher’s Manual which you were instructed to acquire by your Usher’s Group leader.

Church Budget Committee will meet at 4:00 on Sunday March 28th for our first of two meetings regarding the church budget for fiscal year 2010-11.  If you have interest in attending or have input, please see Pastor Scott.

Baptism Class Pastor Scott will be holding a baptism class which is open to anyone who has been saved but has not yet been baptized in obedience to Christ.   If you are interested, please contact him.

Jr. High/High School Ensemble Heather Harstad has started a Jr.High/High School musical ensemble that will sing multiple times throughout the year and will perform a variety of musical styles.  Practice will be every other Sunday evening for 30 minutes following the evening service.  The next practice is March 14^th.

Victory Ranch Spring Ladies Retreat is scheduled for March 12-13, 2010.  Cost: $60 (before March 1^st, $65 after that date). Theme: ‘This Ole House’ a Biblical Perspective on the History and Legacy of Victory Ranch’ with Dr. Linn & Carol Carothers.  Registration forms are on the back table.

Victory Ranch Spring Men’s Retreat is scheduled for March 26-27, 2010.  Cost: $60 (if paid in full by March 15th, $65 after that date). Theme: “Foundations for a Godly Man” with Thomas Pryde. Activities include golf, archery, horseshoes, ping pong, volleyball, rifle & pistol and skeet shooting.  Registration forms are on the back table.
