Church Outreach This Saturday, July 24^th we will have an outreach into our community, inviting those in our area to visit Santa Clarita Baptist Church.  Please join us in the library at 9:00 a.m.

Shower for Judah Trepanier! Judah David Trepanier was welcomed into the world on July 12th, and we’d like to welcome him to our church by showering his sweet family with love!  Join us on July 29th, at 7:00 p.m., at Janelle Sonnenburg’s home. You can bring diapers (ALL sizes welcome!), something blue for a boy, or a dessert to share with the group! Whitewater Rafting The men’s ministry at SCBC has organized a two-day rafting trip down the American River.  The dates are August 20-22. The cost is $140 per person and there are 18 spots available.  If you are interested please get your $70 deposit to Dave Grimes or Pastor Scott as soon as possible, as the list is already filling up.

Women’s ministry event August 10^th @ 7:00 pm.  Ladies, save this date for a night of Book Swapping and Sundae Bar!  Clear your shelves of all those books you have read 100 times and come pick out some new ones!  We will gather in the Home Ec. Room for fellowship and dessert.  What should you bring?  All your books to swap with others and a yummy topping for the Sundae Bar!  Youth Group girls are welcome to be part of the fun!

Gap Announcements

The first Sunday of every month at 7:00pm we will be having a fellowship time at the Sonnenburgs.  This is open to all college students and young adults. The first one will be on August 1^st. Hope to see you there!

Men’s Ministry events

Men and families: Join us for the Dodgers v. Giants baseball game on July 19^th in the all-you-can-eat section of Dodger Stadium.  The cost is $25 per ticket (includes food).  This is limited to the first 20 people so contact Steve Dixon  at 661-714-1066 for more information.

July 23-24: Men Discipling Men Conference at The Master’s College.  To  register call 661-362-2653.  Steve Dixon has two free tickets, so contact him if you are interested.
