Who Are We, Exactly?

We are the Church, and the Church is the Body of Christ. To understand what this means, First Corinthians 12 teaches us 2 fundamentals about who we are, exactly:
(1) God Creates the Church Like Organs Within a Human Body (1-13)
God Endows Every Member of the Body with Unique Gifts (1-3)
God Fashions Each Member for the Common Good (4-11)
God Creates Unity out of Diversity (12-13)
(2) God Commands the Church to Function Like a Human Body (14-31)
Lesser Members Are Needed (14-20)
Greater Members Are Needy (21-24a)
All Members Need Love (24b-31)
